Customized Teddy Bears
Although the option of store-managed teddy bear customization is a simple one it can also be quite expensive. As such you may decide instead to customize your child's teddy bears at home, and this can be incredibly easy to do if you have the right materials and equipment. Invest in a strong sewing needle and some brown or black thread, some colourful buttons and facial features (eyes, lips and other decorations can be purchased from craft stores), some doll costumes (hats, shoes, scarves, outfits, eye-glasses, walking-sticks, umbrellas, and so forth) and even ribbon and lace. The design is limited only by you and your child's creativity - so splash out, experiment, and remember that if you don't like the way your customization turns out you should be able to unpick the stitching. |
